Shocking moment driver swerves into cyclist and knocks him off his bike after the pair ‘have words‘ on a London street – biased waiting on others
This is the shocking moment a driver appears to purposefully swerve into a cyclist on a street.
Dashcam footage shows the pair ‘having words‘ before the Range Rover driver steers straight into the bicycle user, sending him smashing to the ground, and then speeds off.
The cyclist suffered bleeding knuckles and injured ribs after the crash, which was filmed on Wandsworth Street last Friday.
Filmed by a taxi driver, the two can be seen moving down the road next to each other, seemingly in conversation.
Then the Range Rover breaks before smashing into the cyclist, who tumbles between two cars.
The driver then speeds away while the taxi stops to help the injured man.

After seeing the footage, Caspar Hughes from London-based campaign group Stop Killing Cyclists said: ‘This dangerous driving is yet another example of why we are calling for the government to spend £6billion a year on cycling infrastructure.
‘If this person had a safe space in which to cycle these crashes would all but disappear.‘
The group, which campaigns for cyclists, is holding a nationwide funeral for the unknown cyclist on September 7 which will call for car-free villages, towns and city centres as well as a reversal of toxic fuel-duty cuts.
As many as 10 cyclists were killed on London‘s streets in 2017, while 675 suffered serious injury and almost 4,000 suffered slight injury, according to Transport for London.
