TALK OF THE TOWN: Princess Beatrice‘s beau rekindles friendship with his ex-fiancee… over Instagram

Oh dear, is that alarm bells I can hear ringing for Princess Beatrice?

When the 30-year-old Royal began dating latest beau Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, there was much speculation there had been a crossover with his former fiancee, Dara Huang.

So I can’t imagine Bea will be thrilled to learn he has rekindled his friendship with his ex – over Instagram.

Architect Edo, who accompanied Bea to her cousin Gabriella Windsor’s wedding last weekend, has been ‘liking’ leggy Dara’s posts about her design firm and her building projects in London and Italy.

Dara, who has a son, Christopher, with Edo, has been posting gushing comments on pictures of his firm’s work.

What will Beatrice make of it all?

Princess Beatrice made her first royal appearance with her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at the wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston on May 18, at St George‘s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Beatrice, 30, and father-of-one Edoardo, 34, had kept their romance out of the spotlight when they started dating last year but have been seen more often of late.

Edoardo – who is known as Edo – is the stepson of Christopher Shale (a friend of David Cameron), who died at Glastonbury music festival in 2011.

The couple went public when they attended the annual gala for the Berggruen Prize for Philosophy and Culture in New York in December last year.

It is thought the two were friends for years before their friendship evolved into a romance.

Edoardo founded a real estate firm in 2007, and serves as its CEO to this day.

The company specialises in finding and developing homes for wealthy clients.

Beatrice, who lives in New York and works full time as a consultant that introduces start-ups to potential financial backers, was spotted with her boyfriend several times in Manhattan throughout the spring.

For the royal wedding last weekend, Beatrice wore a white fascinator with a high street dress from Self-Portrait worth £370 as she stepped out with Edoardo in his morning suit.

They were joined by Beatrice‘s mother Sarah Ferguson, her father Prince Andrew and her sister Princess Eugenie who was married to Jack Brooksbank at the same venue last year.

The official appearance at the royal wedding confirms suspicions that Bea and Edo‘s relationship has become more serious.
